Sussex County reports 66 new COVID-19 cases; no additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Wednesday, September 29 are reporting 66 new COVID-19 cases and no additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 16,640* and total deaths is at 320:

  • Andover Borough-63 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-860 and 128 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-78 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-955 and 8 deaths
  • Frankford Township-681 and 34 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-592 and 3 deaths
  • Fredon Township-344 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-440 and 8 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-426 and 6 deaths
  • Hampton Township-568 and 3 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-998 and 14 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-1,779 and 17 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-231 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-372 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-954 and 24 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-335 and 6 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-188 and 2 deaths
  • Sparta Township-2,215 and 19 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-449 and 4 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-393 and 2 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-187 and 1 death
  • Vernon Township-2,382 and 23 deaths
  • Walpack Township-0 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-1,150 and 10 deaths

According to health officials, of the 16,640 cases 15,783 cases have been classified as recovered.
