Sussex County reports 78 new COVID-19 cases; no additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Tuesday, February 22 are reporting 78 new COVID-19 cases and no additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 34,505 and total deaths is at 459:

  • Andover Borough-121 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-1,765 and 148 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-153 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,965 and 10 deaths
  • Frankford Township-1,291 and 42 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-1,310 and 17 deaths
  • Fredon Township-687 and 6 deaths
  • Green Township-941 and 11 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-810 and 9 deaths
  • Hampton Township-1,211 and 7 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,928 and 21 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-3,520 and 33 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-552 and 2 deaths
  • Montague Township-821 and 7 deaths
  • Newton-2,204 and 45 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-567 and 9 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-409 and 3 deaths
  • Sparta Township-4,596 and 26 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-878 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-842 and 4 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-459 and 2 death
  • Vernon Township-5,003 and 38 deaths
  • Walpack Township-3 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-2,469 and 14 deaths

According to health officials, of the 34,505 cases 29,543 cases have been classified as recovered.
