Sussex County reports 94 new COVID-19 cases; 1 additional death

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Wednesday, December 1 are reporting 94 new COVID-19 cases and 1 additional death.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 19,718* and total deaths is at 357:

  • Andover Borough-66 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-968 and 130 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-93 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,129 and 8 deaths
  • Frankford Township-785 and 37 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-765 and 8 deaths
  • Fredon Township-412 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-532 and 9 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-497 and 8 deaths
  • Hampton Township-673 and 4 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,161 and 16 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-2,082 and 21 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-304 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-475 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-1,159 and 31 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-358 and 6 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-239 and 3 deaths
  • Sparta Township-2,561 and 22 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-500 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-459 and 3 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-245 and 1 death
  • Vernon Township-2,844 and 24 deaths
  • Walpack Township-3 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-1,408 and 12 deaths

*(One reported positive case has been re-assigned out of County)

According to health officials, of the 19,718 cases 18,426 cases have been classified as recovered.
