Sussex County reports 95 new COVID-19 cases; 2 additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Wednesday, February 2 are reporting 95 new COVID-19 cases and 2 additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 33,883 and total deaths is at 438:

  • Andover Borough-120 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-1,765 and 146 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-151 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,925 and 10 deaths
  • Frankford Township-1,268 and 42 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-1,290 and 16 deaths
  • Fredon Township-683 and 6 deaths
  • Green Township-925 and 11 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-797 and 9 deaths
  • Hampton Township-1,191 and 6 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,890 and 21 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-3,486 and 31 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-543 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-813 and 6 deaths
  • Newton-2,166 and 39 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-556 and 8 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-404 and 3 deaths
  • Sparta Township-4,456 and 24 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-862 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-839 and 4 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-441 and 2 death
  • Vernon Township-4,894 and 35 deaths
  • Walpack Township-3 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-2,415 and 13 deaths

According to health officials, of the 33,883 cases 23,315 cases have been classified as recovered.
