Sussex County woman accused of shoplifting from Walmart, ShopRite

FRANKLIN BOROUGH, NJ (Sussex County) – A Sussex County woman is accused of shoplifting from Walmart and ShopRite in Franklin Borough, according to police.

Kaitlyn McGrady, 37, of Franklin Borough, was arrested and charged on June 5 with third-degree shoplifting and local ordinance violations, police said.

McGrady is alleged to have removed merchandise past the point of sale at Walmart on April 24, 2021, and on multiple dates between May and June of 2021 from the Franklin Shoprite without providing due payment, police said.

McGrady was released on a summons in accordance with the NJ Bail Reform Act, pending her appearance in Sussex County Superior Court, police said.
