FRANKLIN BOROUGH, NJ (Sussex County) – A Sussex County woman accused of harassing a police officer has been arrested for the second time in two months, police said.
On Fe. 14, 2019 officers responded to a dispute call and that’s when Jordanna Capiello, 26, of Hamburg allegedly bit officer Nicholas Della Fera. She was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest, police said.
Since her initial arrest, Cappiello has made several harassing communications to the officer, both in person and electronically. As a result, she was charged with harassment in November 2019 for making the harassing communications. After being released, she continued the harassing communications toward the officer, police said.
A warrant was issued due to her being on pre-trial release, and refused to respond to Franklin Police Headquarters to answer the charges, police said.
Capiello was located in Franklin Lakes on Friday and taken into custody, police said.
Capiello is lodged in the the Sussex County Jail pending an appearance in Sussex County Superior Court.
