Sussex County woman charged with driving under the influence of drugs
BYRAM TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A Sussex County woman has been charged with driving under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance following a traffic stop earlier this month in Byram Township, police said.
On May 5, police observed a vehicle speeding on Route 206 and stopped the vehicle. While the officer was speaking to the driver, who was identified as Lauren Cassese of Byram Township, the officer felt she may be intoxicated, police said.
Cassese was asked to perform several field sobriety tests, which she failed, police said.
