Sussex County woman faces shoplifting, drug charges

FRANKLIN BOROUGH, NJ (Sussex County) – A Sussex County woman faces shoplifting and drug charges after an incident at Walmart Thursday afternoon in Franklin Borough.

On June 11, at around 1:00 p.m., police received a report from the Franklin Borough Walmart Asset Protection Associates of a shoplifting, police said.

Chasitie J. Ammacher, 23, of Franklin Borough was subsequently found to have allegedly shoplifted merchandise from the store, police said.

During the course of the investigation, officers found her to allegedly be in possession of marijuana, Suboxone pills, which had been crushed and prepared to be inhaled, and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Ammacher was charged with shoplifting and multiple narcotics related offenses. She was released pending a court appearance.
