
Tewksbury Township police investigate car burglaries
TEWKSBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Police are currently investigating a string of multiple car burglaries that was reported early Thursday morning.
Police said the burglaries occurred during the overnight hours between Wednesday, October 21 and Thursday, October 22. As of Thursday morning, five cars were reported to have been burglarized.
Additionally, a garage door opener from an unlocked vehicle parked outside was used to open the garage to go through a car parked inside, police said.
Several other neighboring towns have received similar reports of cars being burglarized and/or stolen, police said.
Last weekend, three cars were stolen from in Tewksbury Township, according to police.
Police urge all residents to lock thier cars and remove keys/fobs each and every night.
Anyone in the Pruner Farm, Apple Lane and Coddington Lane areas with surveillance video of the possible suspect(s) is asked to contact the Tewksbury Township Police Department at 908-439-2503
