Tips lead to Warren County teen charged in criminal trespass incident, police say

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Due to numerous tips, Hackettstown police were able to charge a teenager connected to a criminal trespass complaint at a local body shop. 

With the help of the public, authorities were able to identify the suspect as a 16-year-old boy from Independence Township, NJ, police said.

On May 22, police asked for assistance with identifying a man who entered a vehicle and then attempted to enter other vehicles at George’s Auto Body (208 West Stiger St) on Monday, May 20, between 7:13 p.m. and 7:23 p.m.

The juvenile was charged on May 29 with criminal trespass and released to a family member pending a court appearance.
