Tractor-trailer cab catches fire in Mount Olive Township

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A tractor-trailer cab caught fire in Mount Olive Township on Sunday night.

The fire was reported on May 10, at 11:35 p.m., at the New York Folding Box Company, located at
20 Continental Drive, police said.

When police arrived on scene, the officer observed the fire to be contained to an unoccupied tractor-trailer cab of a car carrier, which was parked inside the locked and gated facility, police said.

The fire was extinguished within fifteen minutes and the Morris County Haz-Mat Team responded to the scene due to a large diesel fuel leak from the fire.

There were no injuries.

The owner of the company, the owner of the tractor-trailer and a witness are assisting with the investigation, police said.
