Tractor-trailer driver airlifted after multi-vehicle crash on I-80 in Warren County
BLAIRSTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A tractor-trailer driver was rescued after being trapped in his truck following a multi-vehicle crash Thursday night in Warren County.
The crash happened at 6:27p.m. on Interstate 80 eastbound at milepost 9.2 in Blairstown Township, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Alejandro Goez said.
There were four vehicles involved and the tractor-trailer had heavy entrapment, according to firefighters.
The tractor-trailer driver sustained serious injuries and was flown to Morristown Medical Center, Goez said.
Warren County HAZMAT also responded due to a diesel spill.
The crash remains under inveisgation, Goez said.
All lanes have reopened.
