Tractor-trailer hauling food products overturns on I-287 exit ramp in Morris County
MORRISTOWN, NJ (Morris County) – A 47-year-old truck driver from Maiden, NC was injured when his tractor-trailer overturned on an Interstate 287 exit ramp on Thursday morning, New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Philip Curry said.
The crash occurred at 6:18 a.m. on I-287 northbound at exit 35 in Morristown, Curry said.
A preliminary police investigation revealed a tractor-trailer hauling food products lost control on the ramp, struck a curb, and overturned, Curry said.
The driver sustained minor non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Morristown Medical Center, Curry said.
The ramp has reopened.
