Traffic stop leads to seizure of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, ecstasy in Warren County

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ (Warren County) – A Warren County woman was arrested after a traffic stop led to a seizure of drugs and cash in Phillipsburg, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

On Nov.14, police stopped a vehicle driven by Jennifer Crane, 37, of Stewartsville for having tinted windows and failing to signal while turning, authorities said.

Shortly after, it was determined that Crane was driving while her license had been suspended. During her subsequent arrest, officers discovered cocaine and methamphetamine on her person, the prosecutor’s office said.

As a result, a search warrant was sought, obtained, and executed on Crane’s vehicle. This search yielded over one ounce of suspected methamphetamine, nearly a half ounce of suspected cocaine, 132 pills believed to be Fentanyl, 43 pills of suspected ecstasy, and $3,084 in cash, authorities said.

Crane was charged with second-degree possession with Intent to distribute over one-half ounce of methamphetamine, third-degree possession with Intent to distribute less than one-half ounce of cocaine, third-degree possession with intent to distribute less than one-half ounce of fentanyl, and second-degree possession with intent to distribute less than one-half ounce of ecstasy.
