Travel delays possible on I-80 EB at Delaware Water Gap toll bridge May 24-25

I-80 eastbound motorists who use the Delaware Water Gap Toll Bridge for travel from Monroe County, PA. to Warren County could encounter backups and delays during late morning and early afternoon hours on Wednesday, May 24, and Thursday, May 25, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The bridge commission maintenance crews are scheduled to conduct milling and paving work between drainage inlets on the bridge’s downstream side, necessitating a single-lane travel restriction eastbound on the bridge 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, and Thursday, May 25, the commission said.

I-80 eastbound motorists are advised to allow more time to reach their destinations, reschedule their trips or use alternate routes if they need to travel urging the scheduled lane-closure times on Wednesday and Thursday, the commission said.
