Truck towing boat overturns on I-78 in Warren County

POHATCONG TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A truck towing a boat on Interstate 78 overturned in Warren County Thursday afternoon, New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Philip Curry said.

The crash happened at 4:32 p.m. on Interstate 78 eastbound MP 0.5 in Pohatcong Township, Curry said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a Ford F350 was towing a boat on a trailer on Interstate 78 eastbound when the boat and trailer overturned, Curry said.

No injuries were reported on scene, Curry said.

The middle and right lanes were closed for a period of time for the removal of the boat, Curry said.
