Two juveniles charged in Washington Borough gas station robbery

WASHINGTON BOROUGH, NJ (Warren County) – Two juveniles are facing charges in connection to a robbery of a Washington Borough gas station, police said.

On Jan. 19, at around 7:47 p.m., Washington Township police responded to the Enrite gas station, located at 274 West Washington Avenue, in Washington Borough for a reported robbery.

Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, the juveniles were charged on Jan. 22 with robbery, possession of a knife for an unlawful purpose and conspiracy, police said.

Both were lodged in the Morris County Youth Detention Facility pending further court action within the juvenile justice system, police said.
