
Two-month drug investigation nets 2 arrests, seize 9 guns, drugs, cash in Hunterdon County, state police say
UNION TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A two-month drug investigation into the alleged distribution of drugs in Hunterdon County has led to the arrest of 2 Union Township residents, according to New Jersey State Police.
During the month of October, detectives from the Strategic Investigations Unit-North obtained information that Walsh was allegedly selling narcotics in the Hunterdon County area, state police said.
Through various investigative means, New Jersey state troopers determined that Bradley Walsh, 50, and Kathleen Grabowski, 47, both of Union Township were conducting illegal drug activity out of their residence, state police said.
On November 22, detectives with assistance from the State Police T.E.A.M.S Unit, K9 Unit, Criminal Investigation Office, and Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office executed search warrants at their residence and on a vehicle, state police said.
As a result, detectives arrested Walsh and Grabowski and seized 5 rifles, 4 handguns, $1,450 worth of methamphetamine, $6,000 worth of marijuana, $600 worth of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) gel tabs, $500 worth of psilocybin mushrooms, and more than $890 cash, state police said.
Walsh was charged with the following:
- Certain persons not to possess firearms
- Possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine
- Possession of a firearm while committing CDS offense
- Possession of imitation firearm during CDS offense
- Possession of methamphetamine, LSD, psilocybin mushrooms
- Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
- Possession of hollow point ammunition
Grabowski was charged with the following:
- Possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine
- Possession of a firearm while committing CDS offense
- Possession of imitation firearm during CDS offense
- Possession of methamphetamine, LSD, psilocybin mushrooms
- Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
- Possession of hollow point ammunition
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Both suspects were lodged in the Warren County Jail pending a bail detention hearing.
This case is being prosecuted by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office. Troopers from Troop “B” Washington Station and Perryville Station also assisted with the investigation.
