Unruly person complaint leads to DWI, drug arrest in Morris County
DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Morris County man is facing a slew of charges including driving while intoxicated and drug possession after he was allegedly being unruly at a business in Denville Township.
On Feb. 24, police responded to a business on Route 10 on a report of an unruly person. Upon arrival of the officers, it was determined that Ryan Banta, 31, of Landing had driven a vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, police said.
Banta was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of CDS, attempt to defraud the administration of a drug test, possession of drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of CDS, DWI, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, and careless driving, police said.
Banta was then lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance, police said.
