Vernon Township PBA donates portable outdoor heaters to senior center

VERNON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – The Vernon Township PBA Wednesday donated two portable outdoor heaters to the township’s senior center.

Vernon Township Police Chief Daniel Young along with members of the Vernon Township PBA presented the gift to the township’s senior center on Wednesday and to accept the gift were Mayor Howard Burrell, Senior Center Manager Jane Mc Cluskey Damstra and some of the seniors.

“Many many thanks to the Vernon PBA for their generous donation of two portable outdoor heaters complete with filled propane tanks for our Senior Center outdoor seating area! As the weather gets chillier, these will allow our seniors to continue to have a place to socialize and share a meal with friends,” the township said on a Facebook post.
