WalletHub: New Jersey employers have the 4th smallest hiring struggle in the U.S.

NEW JERSEY – New Jersey employers have the 4th smallest hiring struggle in the U.S., according to a study done by WalletHub.

With the labor force participation rate at 62.1%, one of the lowest rates in decades, WalletHub Thursday released updated data on 2022’s States Where Employers Are Struggling the Most in Hiring.

In order to see where employers are struggling the most in hiring, WalletHub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia based on the rate of job openings for both the latest month and the last 12 months.

• Job openings rate during the latest month: 5.70%
• Job openings rate in the past 12 months: 6.10%
• Overall rank: 4^th smallest hiring struggle in the country

4. Louisiana
5. New Mexico

1. New York
