Wanted man arrested in Hackettstown now facing drug charges

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – An Independence Township man who was a wanted person has been arrested and is now facing drug charges.

On May 18, at around 7:25 p.m., a Hackettstown police officer observed Gregory Becker, 34, behind 78 Main St and the officer was aware that he was a New Jersey wanted person. The warrant was issued by Warren County and the original offenses was for dangerous drugs, police said.

Officers made contact with Becker and was then arrested. He had in his possession 17 used heroin wax folds, 9 hypodermic needles, and a bottom of an aluminum can with burnt narcotics residue, police said.

Becker was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of hypodermic needles. He was then lodged in the Warren County Jail pending a court appearance.
