Wanted man resisted police during traffic stop in Morris County
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A wanted Pennsylvania man was arrested last month during a traffic stop in Washington Township, according to police.
On July 27, an officer stopped a motor vehicle stop on Naughright Road. During the course of the stop, it was revealed that the driver, who was identified as a 34-year-old man from Bushkill, had an outstanding criminal warrant.
The driver was removed from the vehicle and proceeded to resist arrest. He was ultimately taken into custody without injury, police said.
In addition to the outstanding warrant, he was charged with obstruction and resisting arrest. He was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending extradition to Pennsylvania, police said.
