Warren County Commissioners celebrated local businesses at the Washington BID’s 2024 Business Recognition Reception

WASHINGTON, NJ (Warren County) – Warren County Commissioner Director James R. Kern III and Deputy Director Jason J. Sarnoski attended the Washington Business Improvement District’s (Washington BID) 2024 Business Recognition Reception Thursday night to congratulate the honorees and present Certificates of Merit from the county.

The honorees were: 2024 Business Person of the Year Ellen Perkins of Gaia’s Gifts; Business of the Year Full Throttle Automotive and Cycle Repair; Redevelopment Award winner The Meat Shoppe by Arctic Foods (Arctic Foods, USA – Meat Shoppe); and Community Partner of the Year Cathy Miller.

“It’s great to see the business community in Washington Borough continue to work together and thrive,” Kern said. “The Washington BID does so much to help make the Borough’s downtown a must-visit destination and a great place to work, shop, and spend your time.”

“Congratulations to all the award recipients tonight and to the Washington BID for another successful year,” Sarnoski said.

The Washington BID is a non-profit organization that works to create an environment where business and government can work together to promote opportunities and enhance shopping experiences while preserving the cultural, historic, tourist, and civic interests in the Borough of Washington.
