Warren County has hundreds of COVID-19 vaccine appointments available this week for anyone ages 18 and older

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – Warren County has hundreds of COVID-19 vaccine appointments available this week for anyone ages 18 and older.

“The County’s vaccine supply has doubled in the last two weeks. If you’ve been waiting to allow others to go first, thank you, but you no longer need to wait,” Warren County Health Officer Pete Summers said.

A special clinic is scheduled for Wednesday, April 21 in Phillipsburg for anyone in the 08865 ZIP code, while appointments also are available for Thursday’s clinic in Belvidere at Belvidere Manor, the Good Will Fire Company’s events hall.

“Every resident 16 and older of Warren County is now eligible for a vaccine. With the additional supply and staffing we can now bring the vaccine to those who cannot travel to Belvidere by having our pop-up site in Phillipsburg,” Board of County Commissioners Director James R. Kern III said “With a fully vaccinated public, we can finally put this pandemic behind us.”

The vaccine clinics run by Warren County government administer the Moderna vaccine, which is approved for ages 18 and up, while New Jersey’s megasite clinics, including one in Rockaway Township, will vaccinate people who are at least 16 years old.

Register at www.warrencountynjvaccination.org or call 908-878-3188 Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and press 2 to make an appointment for vaccinations.
