Warren County man accused of breaking into shed, stealing 3 off-road vehicles

ALPHA BOROUGH (Warren County) – A 24-year-old Warren County man was arrested after he was accused of breaking into a shed and stealing three off-road vehicles in Alpha Borough, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

On May 4, the Phillipsburg police responded to the 1400 block of Liberty Street for a report of a burglary and theft. The victim’s shed was broken into, and three off-road vehicles were stolen, collectively valued at over $10,000, authorities said.

Police canvassed the area and video footage was obtained leading to the discovery of a suspect’s vehicle, prosecutor’s office said.

As a result of the investigation, Christopher R. Gordon of Alpha Borough was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree theft, and criminal mischief.

The Phillipsburg Police Department is continuing the investigation to locate the stolen vehicles.
