Warren County man charged with animal cruelty

OXFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Warren County man has been charged with animal cruelty after he allegedly failed to provide water and shelter for a dog and rabbit that were in his care, according to Washington Township police.

On May 18, at around 8:13 p.m., police responded to a residence in the 200 block of Axford Avenue in Oxford Township for a report of animal cruelty, police said.

Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Timothy Pruden Jr., 29, of Oxford Township, NJ was charged with animal cruelty. He was issued summonses at the scene and released with a mandatory court date, police said.
