Warren County man charged with endangering the welfare of a child

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Warren County man has been charged with knowingly, possessing and viewing images showing the sexual abuse and exploitation of children, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

Microsoft Online Operations reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that James F. Henderson, 63, of Mansfield Township allegedly uploaded child sexual abuse material, the prosecutor’s office said.

The cyber tips were then referred to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit and through various investigative means, detectives were able to identify a suspect and determine that the online activity was occurring at his residence, authorities said.

Detectives were also able to confirm that the uploaded images depicted children being sexually abused and exploited, the prosecutor’s office said.

The prosecutor’s office along with the Mansfield Township Police Department, executed a search warrant upon the Henderson’s home on Allen Road and several electronic devices were seized, authorities said.

Henderson was arrested and charged on April 20 with third-degree endangering the welfare of a child for possession and viewing items depicting child sexual exploitation and abuse.
