Warren County man charged with sexually assaulting child

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ (Warren County) – A Warren County man has been arrested and charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, according to Warren County Prosecutor Richard Burke.

Kevin Micucci, 32, of Phillipsburg was charged on May 9 with second-degree sexual assault by contact where the victim was under 13-years-old and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

The complaint alleges that on diverse dates between Sept. 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019, Micucci committed sexual assault by contact with a child who was under 13-years-old, Burke said.

The child was known to Micucci, Burke said.

Micucci’s first appearance was scheduled for May 10 and is currently lodged in the Warren County Correctional facility.

The Warren County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Phillipsburg Police Department conducted the investigation.

The crimes are punishable up to ten years in state prison.
