Warren County man dies days after lawn tractor accident

OXFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office says a 79-year-old Oxford Township man died following injuries suffered in a lawn tractor accident

Richard Pender of the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office says Donald Deitman died at 4:48 p.m. on Sunday, August 22 in the St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem Campus.

“The cause of death is blunt force trauma to the head and chest due to a lawn tractor accident. The manner of death is accident,” Pender said.

The accident occurred on Monday, August 16, at 3:17 p.m., at Deitman’s home. He was operating a lawn tractor that rolled over an embankment, Pender said.
