Warren County man reportedly found sleeping in vehicle charged with DWI

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Warren County man allegedly found sleeping in a vehicle was charged with driving while intoxicated in Mount Olive Township.

On January 15, at around 12:49 p.m., police responded to the parking lot of Lowes Hardware for a report of a male sleeping in his vehicle, police said.

Flanders EMS and police made contact with the driver, identified as Kenneth R. Dunham, 68, of Belvidere, who immediately showed obvious signs of impairment due to alcohol. Due to Dunham’s intoxicated state, he was unable to perform standard field sobriety tests, police said.

Dunham was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he submitted to chemical breath testing, police said.

Dunham was charged with DWI and reckless driving. He was released to a sober driving, pending a court appearance, police said.
