
Washington Township police arrest Ohio man 4 times in November
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A 54-year-old Ohio man was arrested four times in November on multiple charges including drug possession and maintaining a nuisance, police said.
Michael Kelley of Grafton was originally arrested on Nov. 14 for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance, possession of marijuana less than 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. At around 3:06 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious person in the parking lot of the Hickory Hill Motel, located 276 Route 31, in Washington Township. Upon officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, he was arrested and charged and released pending a court appearance, police said.
He was later arrested at around 6:16 a.m. on the same day for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. Police responded to the QuickChek, located at 350 Route 57, in Washington Township for a reported disorderly person. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, he was arrested and processed at the scene and released pending a court appearance, police said.
Four days later, he was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and issued motor vehicle summonses for driving with a suspended driver’s license, failure to possess vehicle registration, and failure to possess an insurance card. On Nov. 18 at around 7:55 p.m., police responded to AutoZone, located at 200 East Washington Ave, in Washington Borough for the report of a suspicious person. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, he was arrested and charged and released with pending a court appearance as per bail reform, police said.
Kelley was then arrested on Nov. 19 for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. At around 6:16 a.m., police responded to the first block of Essex Road in Washington Township for a suspicious person knocking on doors looking for a friend’s house. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, he was arrested and processed at the scene and released pending a court appearance, police said.
