Wawa employee charged with stealing money from Hunterdon County store

FLEMINGTON BOROUGH, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Wawa employee was charged earlier this month with stealing nearly $910 from the Flemington Borough store where he worked, according to police.

On Thursday, April 7, officers responded to Wawa for a report of an employee who stole nearly $910 in one week, police said.

Alexander Rutgers, 18, of Flemington was charged with theft and then released pending a court appearance, police said.
