What to know about Hackettstown’s Community Day this Saturday

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) –Hackettstown’s Community Day will be this Saturday and the annual event will have a host of attractions.

Here’s what to know before you go.

WHEN IS IT? Community Day runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5.

WHERE IS IT? It’s held on the campus of Hackettstown Medical Center, in the rear parking lot of the Willow Grove Medical Plaza (653 Willow Grove St., Hackettstown).

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? Free admission and parking.


  • There will be various non-profit agencies, Iocal businesses, clubs, organizations, interactive displays, free food and giveaways.
  • Mars Wrigley will be giving away candy.
  • Hackettstown Medical Center will have a teddy bear hospital where children can bring their “injured” stuffed animals to be cared for.
  • WRNJ Radio 92.7FM, 104.7FM, 105.7FM, 1510AM will broadcast live from the event, courtesy of Mars Wrigley.
  • A police K-9 demonstration by Hackettstown’s K-9 unit at 12:00 p.m.
  • Atlantic Air Ambulance is tentatively scheduled to land at 1:00 p.m.
  • The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Mobile Unit will be on location for people to get their driver’s license, renew registrations, surrender old licenses plates, get placards and more (Fees will apply to certain services – cash, check and credit cards will be accepted).
  • Free Child ID’s and much more.

WHERE CAN I PARK? Anyone attending should park behind Hackettstown Medical Center, located at 651 Willow Grove St.
