Woman, 71, accused of shoplifting from Walmart in Mount Olive Twp.

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Morris County woman is accused of shoplifting from the Walmart in Mount Olive Township, police said.

On Oct. 7, at 2:54 p.m., an officer responded to Walmart, located at 40 International Drive South, in Flanders  for a report of a shoplifter who had exited the store and was walking in the parking lot, police said.

The officer located the woman in the lot, and she was identified as Diane Sullivan, 71, of Netcong Borough. During the course of the investigation, her driver’s license was located with items she had removed from the store and had placed in the parking lot when officers arrived. The items taken were valued at $24.79, police said.

Sullivan was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She was then released pending a court appearance, police said.
