Woman arrested after four-week long drug investigation in Hackettstown and Independence Township

WARREN COUNTY, NJ –  A four-week long investigation into the alleged distribution of drugs in Hackettstown and Independence Township has led to the arrest of an Warren County woman, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

On November 22, Heather L. Hadgkiss, 33, of Hackettstown was arrested by members of the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force for Xanax distribution charges, authorities said.

Hadgkiss was charged with two counts of third-degree distribution of  Xanax, two counts of third-degree possession with intent to distribute Xanax, and two counts of second-degree distribution of Xanax within 500 feet of a public park. She was lodged in the Warren County Correctional Center pending a future court appearance.

The investigation was conducted by the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force, with the assistance of the Hackettstown Police Department, Mansfield Township Police Department, Washington Township Police Department (Warren County), and the New Jersey State Police.
