Woman arrested for shoplifting from Mount Olive ShopRite

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Morris County woman has been charged for allegedly stealing from the Flanders ShopRite.

On December 22, an officer responded to the Shoprite in Flanders, located at 90 Bartley Road, for a report of shoplifting. Through an investigation, police and the Loss Prevention office were able to identify the female as Theresa Martino, 63, of Budd Lake, police said.

Martino was observed on video, stacking multiple items together and scanning the barcode on the bottom of one item. This occurred on multiple occasions between November 19th and December 19th, police said.

On January 11, Martino turned herself into police where she was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She was then released pending a court appearance, police said.
