Woman charged with DWI after hit-and-run crash in Jefferson Twp.
JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Morris County woman is being accused of driving drunk after a hit-and-run crash in Jefferson Township.
Police say Brianne Garvey, 29, of Flanders, struck a large rock and a mailbox on Nolan’s Point Road with her motor vehicle on Sept. 4.
Garvey then allegedly fled the scene and was apprehended a short time later by police in Roxbury Township, police said.
Garvey was charged with driving while intoxicated and issued several other summons. She was released pending a court appearance.
