Woman charged with DWI after hitting parked car in Hackettstown

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – A Warren woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after hitting a parked car Friday night in Hackettstown, police said.

On October 29, at around 6:03 p.m., the Hackettstown police responded to Morrison Field, located at 315 Warren Street, for a report of a vehicle that struck a parked car, police said.

When the officer made contact with the driver, who was identified as Beth Dailey,56, of Hackettstown, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage, police said.

Dailey was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving. She was released pending a court appearance, police said.
