Woman charged with DWI, reckless driving in Mount Olive Township

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) –  A 49-year-old Budd Lake woman is facing several charges including driving while intoxicated and reckless driving in Mount Olive Township.

On January 8, at 10:20 p.m., a township officer was on Route 46 east and observed a white Audi driving erratically. The officer Inga performed a random plate inquiry and was alerted that the registered owner, Karen A. Bradley, driving privileges were suspended, police said.

The officer stopped the vehicle and came in contact with Bradley and she immediately showed obvious signs of impairment due to alcohol, police said.

Bradley was asked to exit the vehicle to perform standardized field sobriety tests and upon completion of the investigation, Bradley was arrested and transported to police headquarters where she submitted to chemical breath testing, police said.

Bradley was charged with DWI, reckless driving, failure to maintain a lane and driving while suspended. She was released to a sober driver pending a court appearance.
