Woman faces charges after found lying in roadway in Washington Borough

WASHINGTON BOROUGH, NJ (Warren County) – A Warren County woman is facing charges after police say she lying in the roadway in Washington Borough last month.

On April 30, at around 2:19 a.m., Washington Township Police observed a person lying in the roadway on South Lincoln Avenue in Washington Borough, police said.

Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Shelbie Hurst, 24, of Washington, was charged with disorderly conduct and a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. She was processed at the scene and released pending a mandatory court appearance, police said.
