Woman faces drug charges following traffic stop in Mount Olive Township

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Morris County woman is facing drug charges following a traffic stop in Mount Olive Township.

On March 14, at 11:41 p.m., a township officer was on Route 46 when the officer observed a four door Toyota Camry travelling on Route 46, then pull into the Village Green Apartment Complex for a short period of time and then leave the area, police said.

While leaving the area, the officer observed the Camry driving erratically, with constant changes in speed, failing to keep right and failing to signal a turn. The officer stopped the vehicle on Waterloo Road and came in contact with the driver, who was identified as Jasmine L. Moldovany, 39, of Morristown, police said.

During the course of the investigation, Moldovany provided the officer consent to search, and the officer located oxycodone with out a prescription, police said.

Moldovany was arrested and charged with possession of oxycodone, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, and failure to signal lane change. she was released pending a court appearance, police said.
