Woman pleads guilty to aggravated assault in Sussex County
NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – A Sussex County woman has entered a guilty plea to aggravated assault, according to Acting Sussex County Prosecutor Annmarie Taggart.
Susan A. Antcliff, 44, of Sussex pled guilty on April 4 to third-degree aggravated assault before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton, Taggart said.
In pleading guilty, Antcliff admitted to knowingly committing aggravated assault by attempting to cause serious bodily injury to the victim, Taggart said.
Sentencing is scheduled for May 26.
The case was investigated by Tpr. Kerrison of the New Jersey State Police.
Antcliff was represented by Matthew Young, Esq., and the State was represented by Special Deputy Attorney General and Acting Assistant Prosecutor Vanessa Henderson.
