Woman sent 195 harassing text messages, phone calls, harassing emails and social media posts to an employee of Mansfield Township business

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Warren County woman accused of sending 195 harassing text messages, phone calls and numerous harassing emails and social media posts to an employee of a Mansfield Township business has been charged, according to police.

On June 5, a 40-year-old Independence Township woman, whose name was not released, had been asked to leave a business for acting disorderly and being intoxicated, police said.

Since she was asked to leave, she sent 195 harassing text messages, phone calls and numerous harassing emails and social media posts to an employee of the business which continued even after being warned by an officer to cease all communications, police said.

On June 19, she was charged with six counts of harassment and then released pending a court appearance, police said.
