Woman threw food, sprayed ketchup on man after dispute over bill at Rockaway Lanes

ROCKAWAY BOROUGH, NJ (Morris County) – A Passaic County woman has been charged after she allegedly threw food and sprayed ketchup on a man in Rockaway Borough, police said in a news release Wednesday.

K. Cortina, 41, from Haledon was charged with simple assault, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct.

On Oct. 13, officers responded to Rockaway Lanes, located at 365 Route 46, for a report of an altercation and assault, police said.

When officers arrived, the victim advised them that he and Cortina had a verbal argument over a bill, police said.

A subsequent investigation allegedly showed that Cortina threw food and sprayed ketchup on the man while yelling at him, police said.

Cortina was charged and later released pending a court appearance.
