Woman wanted on warrant found hiding inside cabinet of Sussex County home
BYRAM TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – Police say a woman is in custody after officers allegedly caught her hiding in a cabinet in a Sussex County home.
On March 19, Byram Township police responded to a residence on High-To-Ga Trail in an attempt to apprehend Monika M. Wolverton with an active criminal arrest warrant for taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, police said.
While officers were outside the residence, they observed Wolverton inside the home. Once a search warrant for the residence was granted, officers entered the residence and found her hiding inside a cabinet, police said.
Wolverton was arrested and then transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance, police said.
