Woman who allegedly crashed into snowbank in Washington Borough charged with DWI, police say

WASHINGTON BOROUGH, NJ (Warren County) – A Warren County woman who allegedly struck a snowbank Wednesday night has been charged with driving while intoxicated.

On Feb. 3 at around 11:35 p.m., Washington Township police responded to the 100 block of West Washington Avenue in Washington Borough for an erratic motor vehicle that struck a snowbank, police said.

Police located the vehicle at the Quick Chek, located at 350 Route 57 West, in Washington Township. A subsequent police investigation resulted in the driver, Grace Acosta, 45, of Washington, being arrested for DWI. She had a blood alcohol content of .20, police said.

Acosta was charged with careless driving, failure to exhibit an insurance card and DWI. She was released pending a court appearance, police said.
