1 injured in Warren County garage fire

HARDWICK TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – One person was injured following a garage fire in Warren County on Sunday night, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.

The fire happened just after 8:00 p.m. at a residence on Mallard Pond Rd. in Hardwick Township, Lebron said.

Upon the trooper’s arrival, the garage was fully engulfed in flames. All residents evacuated the home prior to the trooper’s arrival, Lebron said.

One person suffered a minor injury and was transported to an area hospital for further medical evaluation, Lebron said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and no additional information was available, Lebron said.
