Clinton Township police warn residents of recent mail thefts

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Police have recently received numerous reports of mail theft around Clinton Township.

Police offer these mail theft prevention tips:

Box Sign up for free USPS Informed Delivery Consider switching to paperless billing Never place outgoing mail in the mailbox with the red flag raised Hand outgoing mail directly to mail carrier or drop off inside the post office If you plan to be out of town, arrange for your mail to be kept at post office until you return OPT OUT of pre-approved credit card and courtesy check offers sent by your credit card y'
