Hackettstown Mayor announces re-election campaign for second term

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Incumbent Mayor Jerry DiMaio Monday announced his intention to seek a second term as Mayor of Hackettstown, and officially launched his 2023 re-election campaign.

Also running alongside of DiMaio will be incumbent Councilmen Eric Tynan and Leonard Kunz.

“Serving the residents of Hackettstown since September of 2020 as Mayor has been an incredible honor and privilege,” DiMaio said. “I am excited for the opportunity ahead to continue delivering common sense solutions, leading by example, and engaging with our neighbors and businesses all across town. Hackettstown is a shining example for the state, where people always come first where they can count on responsible governance and continued quality services.”

DiMaio plans to stay on course of paying as you go to keep the town debt free, while still being able to provide the necessary resources to keep the town a desirable place to live, work, shop, and dine.

“I am proud of the work council and I have done in these very trying times that Covid presented to us all to keep our town running efficiently and effectively,” DiMaio said.
